Two times per year all the stores in Barcelona have a super sale, the discount sometimes reach 50%!

Barcelona is known for big sales. The sales are taking place 2 times every year in Barcelona, one on the end of the summer and one of the end of the winter.  The rebajas in Spanish or rebaixes in Catalan as the locals call it have enormous disounts. The discounts can reach up to 50% percent. All the stores sell their leftovers of the previous seasons.  The Spaniard are taking the rebajas very serious, the government has decided that the stores in Spain only can use the term rebajas or rebaixes two times per year. Thanks to this law all the stores participate in the sale. They want to get rid of the leftovers but want a good price for it.

Almost all the stores participate in the sale. Think of Custo Barcelona, Desigual, Mango, HM, Bershka, Zara, Topshop, Levi, Jack and Jones, Corte Ingles and many, many more!  All these stores are stationed on the main shopping street of Barcelona, Passeig de Gracia. A big street that lays right next to the Plaça Catalunya. The sale starts at the 7^th of January and continues till the 7^th of March! That is a long time to shop and you will certainly find something you will like. The Sale in Barcelona 2013 is divided in 3 stages the first sale, then a bigger mark down for second sale, and finally remate – final clearance sales.
