If there is one city in Europe that you really must see, it is Prague. Prague is a city with many stories, and all the sights can still show you its history. The city is an open air museum, which is really full of gigantic buildings that’s why they call it “The city of 100 towers” this combined with narrow streets and cozy restaurants it is a great reason to visit this city. Allow at least four days for a visit, and go to the nicest areas of Prague. We explain you about the 5 districts and what is special about them.

Prague, a city with over 1.3 million people living in it. It is a charming city great for vacations, road trips or for students. Prague consists of five different parts, or how they call them, ‘districts’. Each district has its own story and atmosphere, as well as its own number, “town hall” and elected mayor. This means that a district can draw up its own rules, such as rules about parking policy. Fortunately, to keep it somewhat easy, each district also has a name, although they are a bit difficult for us to pronounce…. And then the neighborhoods in the districts can also be located in more than one

Do you still get it?

1. Old town “Staré Město”
Bring your camera, because this neighborhood is one of the most beautiful in all of Europe. You will also find the best sights in the city here, such as the Old Town Square with the Astronomical Clock. On the north side of Old Town Square is the Jewish quarter of Josefov, Prague’s former Jewish ghetto. When u enter this district, you immediately see the change between the other districts. The remains of this period are still clearly visible and therefore interesting to view. Josefov is also home to the city’s most expensive shopping street, Pařížská. The old museum is truly worth to visit when you are in Prague. You see a lot of historical moments for the Jewish people and the city.
