How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively to process reservations, communicate booking details, and improve our services. We never sell your personal information to third parties.
Data Protection
All personal data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Payment information is processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
AI Concierge (Chatbot)
Our website offers an AI concierge: an automated assistant, not a human. It is clearly labelled as an AI assistant in the chat window.
What we collect. We record the messages you send and the assistant's replies, together with the page you were on, the city or apartment you asked about, a short-lived session identifier, and a one-way hashed version of your IP address. We do not store your raw IP address, and we do not attempt to identify you from it.
If you give us your email. You can choose to give us your email address in the chat. When you do, we ask you separately whether you want (a) the answers from your chat sent to you, and/or (b) occasional apartment offers and travel tips. These are separate choices and we only do what you tick. Giving us your email for (a) never results in marketing.
Why we do this. To answer your questions and improve the service (our legitimate interest in operating and improving our website), and, where you have ticked the marketing box, to send you offers (your consent).
How long we keep it. Anonymous conversations are deleted after 180 days. If you gave us your email, we keep your contact details and consent record for as long as you remain a contact, plus the period we need to demonstrate we had your permission.
Your rights. You can withdraw consent at any time (every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe), and you can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data by contacting us. We will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD, www.aepd.es).
