This lovely and quiet site is close to the lively Strada Nuova, the main street linking Rialto area to the railway station, offering plenty of shops, groceries, restaurants and water-bus stops. The majestic Gesuiti church, with its impressive interiors, is a must to visit in the neighbourhood, as well as the unique Sant’Alvise church (with a beautiful frescoed ceiling) and the magnificent SS Giovanni e Paolo church and square, where it’s such a pleasure to stop for a coffee or a spritz, in one of the open-air cafés. Not to forget, the lovely ghetto area, where it’s so pleasant to walk and stop-by.
